# Intellectual Property Rights

**INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (IP RIGHTS) FOR MEERKAT**

**1. Ownership of Intellectual Property** All intellectual property rights related to Meerkat, including but not limited to its character design, brand identity, logos, trademarks, website content, artwork, animations, digital assets, and associated creative materials (collectively, "Meerkat IP"), are the exclusive property of Meerkat and its legal entities.

**2. Trademark and Copyright Protection** Meerkat IP is protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including trademark, copyright, and design rights. Unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, or distribution of Meerkat IP without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

**3. Limited License for Community Use** Meerkat grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license for community members and content creators to use Meerkat's name, logo, and imagery for non-commercial purposes, such as fan art, social media engagement, and promotional materials, provided that such use does not misrepresent, alter, or defame the Meerkat brand. Any commercial use requires explicit written approval.

**4. Unauthorized Use and Enforcement** Any unauthorized use, reproduction, sale, or commercial exploitation of Meerkat IP may result in legal action, including but not limited to cease-and-desist notices, claims for damages, and pursuit of legal remedies as provided by applicable law.

**5. Third-Party Collaborations and Licensing** Meerkat reserves the right to enter into licensing agreements, partnerships, and collaborations with third parties for the use and expansion of Meerkat IP. Any authorized third-party use must comply with Meerkat’s branding and intellectual property guidelines.

**6. User-Generated Content** By submitting any content that references Meerkat, including but not limited to memes, artworks, and promotional materials, users grant Meerkat a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to share, modify, and distribute such content across various platforms while maintaining appropriate credit to the creator when applicable.

**7. Changes to IP Policies** Meerkat reserves the right to update or modify this Intellectual Property Rights policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of Meerkat branding, imagery, or related materials after modifications constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
